Not bad.. making me think more and more that a friedman amp is not for me. Playing was great though and the amp sounded as good as all the other good sounding friedman amps.
Awesome amp and awesome demo. I will have a smallbox one day if it kills me. BTW, my Friedman modded JTM 45 (Brown eye/C45/simple clean) is for sale if anybody wants to help me fund my habit
Anyway, this also reaffirms what I've always thought. Amp demo's always sound waaaayyyy better with:
1) a good player with good hands
2) some attention to recording and production
3) demoing the amp in the context of some sort of song or melodic/harmonic context
How many great amps have been made to sound like utter shit on a shingle by some hack mindlessly wanking with nothing in mind to play in front of a camcorder.
