Proud owner of new SmallBox. Issue right out of the box.

Plexi channel works great. Switch to BE channel and horrific hum as if volume/gain on 10. (Blows your ears/speakers out if you had any volume on the guitar)

Turned volume and gain knobs to zero. Terrible sound persists as volume/gain knobs on amp have zero impact on this sound. Switch back to Plexi channel, works fine. Doesn’t matter whether channel switched with amp switch or foot switch.

After 20 minutes of the amp being on, something warms up and the problem on the BE channel seems to go away and the BE channel of the amp functions. Turn off amp, come back to play more an hour or day later, same issue reappears.

Wondering if you guys can quickly diagnose this or Dave can weigh in.

Just email Dave, he’ll get right back to you with the answer instead of a bunch of guesses.

I had a problem with my Smallbox combo and Dave got back to me like LP Freak said above. He had me send the amp to him to service and will not send it back till it’s checked out by him personally. Excellent customer service.

I think I’ll need that. Or work with Guitar Center where purchased. Playing more today and the BE channel is messed up as the volume oscillates high and low. (Major shifts)

First world problems. Amp of a lifetime but has issues.
