New from Jackson - Pro Plus Pure Metal Series

They may be nice, but who is buying $1500+ MIC Guitars? Would love to FMIC/Jackson move the Pro series lines from Squier factory in China to Cort or World. They're already overpriced, imo and wonder if tariffs will help make that worse? Couldn't imagine these selling at $2k or more :ROFLMAO:

Edit: maybe they already have? On one of the pics on Jackson's site shows the example Kelly being made at the Cortek factory in Indonesia.

I'm not spending this kind of money on slave labor guitars.

I doubt a lot of other people are, either.

Possible that they are/have moved production, but agree. Not to pile on, but not much interested in sending money to a foreign Government that is building a military to go to war with us, either. There are things you can't escape from when it comes to MIC, but if you can/can afford not to than not much point imo. This line has been a greed run, imo and have stayed away even at blowout sales. On par build quality to Korean/Indonesian built X series at twice the price with maybe some better electronics/more expensive finishes. Looks like they added stainless frets, but not all SS is created equal.

I've been debating getting one of those cheap ferrari red ones and just upgrading it, and praying it turns out well.
