The new selling price of $2499 is actually good value for a high end amp compared to some of the other options available in the retail market.
And make no mistake, Fryette amps are definitely high end amps. Build quality and circuit design are top drawer. They sound phenomenal!
The problem for Fryette is that their amps don't command a high $$ on the used market, and this really skews the perception of their amps.
If original D-120's are selling for a grand, I get why people would be reluctant to pony up for this new one.
It's an unfortunate situation for Fryette, but anyone who's owned one of these amps knows that an original D-120 for anything less than $1500 is a freakin' steal!
Hands down one of the best values available for an absolutely devastating amp.
I hope the new D-120 does well.....I need more info, but I'm interested........

Ditto. For me? I trust in Steve's wares - blindly. I may not go ape and buy the thing saying it's my end all be all, but typically? His amps are dope, and his tone is "his". His amps roar.stephen sawall":32ifz8j8 said:Im looking forward to checking it out.
A little bit 'too' fair when I was selling mine.PeteLaramee":c5ttrcwx said:The Sig had a lot more features than this new one and the used prices are very fair.
