Just saw this over on MLP forums,

Fujigen has launched a line of guitars for the United States market.
Excited about this as anyone who has played a well made guitar from one of the better guitar factories in Japan know just how killer of a guitar they make...prices look pretty reasonable considering the quality that comes from Fujigen.

they might me nice but I could buy a used original Gibson 335 for the price of a new knockoff version from these guys.

Good point you make and these are certainly not cheap but many times knock offs from Fujigen and other comparable Japanese guitar factories are better than the original in quality, workmanship, and tone. The Japanese have been making knockoff Fender and Gibson guitars for a long long time and are very good at it. Although knock offs are not for everyone :D

I have to say these are literally the best sounding guitars I've ever played but the pricing seems pretty high maybe this is just MSRP and they will retail for less.... Probably not.

I love my Fujigen Elite Les Paul!
The mahogany single cut model on the website with a HB bridge pickup and P90 neck looks especially interesting!
Satin finished necks and the neck joint looks awesome.

I'm sure they're good guitars, but priced too high imo.
