New gear day - Two notes torpedo reload (vs suhr clip)

I have wanted this one for a long time as I was sure it would come in handy! This thing is a load box / attenuator / reamping - di box!
Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to test it today but here's a short clip I recorded using it as a load box. More clips to come soon!

I’ve used one for years. Found myself going down a DI box rabbit hole, but use most features on it exclusively. It solves most problems for out of the norm guitar situations, especially if you have the itch to reamp.

what I really like about it, is that it isn’t digital so it’s not really subject to be out-dated so much. I don’t know if anything of its kind will ever come out to replace it. Not sure if the power station does all those features

Good to know!! Been watching all I can on YouTube and this is the first one where I didn’t like the suhr better. FWIW I am on vacation listening with ear buds.

Ur most welcome buddy! A lot of people have been waiting for this one I think. To my ears the suhr has a bit more clarity but it's not night and day difference
Also, let's not forget that the reload can do many things but the suhr is just a load box. Personally I feel that for the price the torpedo reload is a winner

Yeah I know what you mean so other clips I've listened to don't do the reload justice. In the end it's all subjunctive!

They both sound pretty good. I think the high end sounds a little more “natural” on the second clip, or a little more round/smooth on the very top.

After listening a few times, I'm liking the IV a bit more, but they both sound excellent!
