Richlite, hate it.

Me too...Funny thing is, this is actually a real rosewood board....CONFIRMED by seller.
+1

Glad to know it's RW.
Spanking lookin' guitar. Give it a couple weeks' worth of playing before you start thinking of changing anything. You might be surprised.

I love Lesters.
Solid body mahog-on-mahog??

Peace
Mo

Congratulations, nice one but prefer ebony on my customs.

as far as the pickups go I put a Duncan Custom in the bridge of my 57 RI BB7 and I it sounds killer.

btw...I got this one under $2500 shipped, its a 2008 Historic that was missing the COA

Thanks, Right on...Not a 68, juat a good old Nashville Custom Shop LPC. Spent some more time with her last. Very solid instrument, plays like butter....Still think the Burst in the bridge will have to go, but going to give it another week or so.

Sweet! Nothing cooler than a Black Beauty. I'm glad you have rosewood instead of richlite. My BB7 had BB1,2 and 3. The bridge for my ears was too edgy, rolling back the tone pot took off some of the ice pic, give it a try. I eventually thew a Duncan Custom in the bridge. I left the middle and neck the same...I like the BB in the neck position.

Right on! I'm very tempted to try out some of the boutique flavors out there in the bridge (Motor City, BK, Suhr, Etc)....But I may just go with what always seems to work: Duncan JB or Gibson 500T. Not sure yet.
