New Guitar Day, sort of

this thing is 40 plus years old... Its a Truetone Speed Demon Jazz Master. It plays and sounds and feels really good for what it is. I beleive its a sears catalogue guitar from 1960 ?? The Kay company built a ton of stuff like it and under different names. some came out better than others.

taught myself most of "The Trees" last night. it sounds hollow ish like the real thing. picks up are a little bright but Im not changing anything. It sounds a lot like the volume swell part of "La Villa Stringata" over F and A.. nice little sting to the notes. I cant put it down. fun fun fun. its really fast. I can picture those jazz players loving this thing.
