It's like Mad Max meets instrumental metal guitar!

nothing memorable here. rhythm guitars sound soft to me. not into it. (Great playing though)
The video is pretty freaking cool though don't ya think? I could turn down the music and just watch the video.

It was cool for a couple of minutes but after a while I had to stop.

I love great leads but I'm not really into when the entire song is a lead. The opening ryhtym riff was sick but the rest were kind of bland to me.

I really liked the lead where the traditional solo should've been. The one where he was tapping, but since the entire song was leads it took away from the "solo" IMO.

Awesome video and Gus shreds me to pieces.

He's a great lead player but I like him better in the context of a song. This sounds like a lack luster attempt at being Jason Becker but about a thousand notes less and not as good of a shred tone. Oh, and the diminished arpeggio ascending the neck lick has been done to death..... Y N G W I E owns the patent on that one. (Yeah that's right, I am talking to you Johan Sebastian Bach!!! sit down and feel the fury!)

I really liked that song "fall to pieces" from his old band Firewind.

He just got the Jackson endorsement. Have a feeling they might have had a hand in bank rolling this thing.

I like this tune better. Forgot what band this chick sings for but she's got some pipes. Pretty cool solo at the 2:34 mark.

Yikes. Made it about a minute into the first video. Boring stuff. Crazy good technique but song is forgettable.

The second tune just sucked

Gus is a really good lead player & super nice guy, but this song sucked.

Melody & overall cohesiveness was

Gus is pretty awesome, but I'd take Loomis ANY day over this.

I could really careless about the tune. But none of you guys have mentioned the video itself. I'm surprised. That's a pretty elaborate video for a rock guitar player most people have never heard off. That thing could not have been cheap with the amount of CGI involved. The song is meh but the video itself is pretty freaking cool! Scortching bad guys in a nuclear wasteland with lightning from your Jackson guitar? C'mon! Ya don't get much more metal than that! Every 10 year old metal guitar player in the world will be asking for Jackson's this Christmas once they see this video.
