When I got my Helix about a week ago, I searched for any info on how it works with a Friedman BE-100, especially 4cm and channel switching. Didn't really find anything other than 1 or 2 other Friedman amps not switching correctly. Once I got it figured out and working the way I wanted, I decided to make a video showing my setup for those that may have a similar rig with similar questions. It was supposed to be short but I rambled a bit and it went 22 minutes! lol

Anyway, check it out if you you have time, the amp was mic'd with a 57 and a 609. Didn't spend a ton of time on this. It actually took me more time to upload it for some reason.

nice thats a cool unit..too much set up for me but I can see how thats very useful...be100 for the win though!

Aside from the hat that was a cool video. Thanks for posting.

How does it feel? Does it play well with the friedman? What about tone suck?

Feels like any other multi-fx unit to me. I don't notice a tone suck but you have to get the levels right.
