Before my time, but I recall hearing about KISS lunchboxes being produced in the late '70s, reducing them to the level of a Burger King marking concept.
Your little white bread, bowl cut tike can take the dark, mysterious heavy metal band KISS to school.......in a metal box fixed with white bread.

Can confirm there were a lot of those lunchboxes at my elementary school at the time. At least KISS was always pretty open about being marketing driven over music driven, I suppose. There were toys around, etc. That was really new in general, as everything got monetized as toy figures after Star Wars themed toys destroyed the market.

Fact check: Dave Mustclaime actually wrote this poem back in early 1823 while drinking a 6 pack of the OG Coke formula beverage.
