Ze Limited High Gain Jose 100 Watt Head being released by 3 Monkeys, cant wait to hear/try. This was a special project for Brad Whitford and the boys and they are only making a very limited run. Street Price is $2999. I will post video/clips when I get them.

Also we will have the prototype pictured below and amps for the limited run at the shop.

That looks cool. The trapezoidal head cab reminds me of the old Gibson amps.

Damn Brad, this is going to be in competition with the Atomica and somewhat with the CCV!

When I look at this amp though, there is one thing that is going to be a very cool feature, just like the original Atomica Super Lead back in the day - you can jump the inputs and use each original volume control as a gain for bass/treble and really dial in the EQ and gain levels. This should be a kick ass little amp with all the right features.

I was thinking same thing about it being cool with two volumes controls for blending etc. it has 5 12ax7 tubes so I am guessing it should have plenty of gain on tap even without pulling the clip option. The loop looks to be nicely done also, and I dig the Marshall influenced looks as thats where these amps started.
 
I would be very tempted to score one of these. But, my 3rd Quarter 2012 Resolution is to stop chasing 80's Marshall tone.... :D

That said, with the proposed circuit layout of the Ze and the build quality of the Monkey stuff being beyond top tier - I bet this is going to be a kick-ass unit right here.

Hey guys, Greg from 3 Monkeys here. Glad to hear you guys are as excited about this amp as we are. I will tell you the photos are of the original proto and we've changed both faceplates since then. There is only one input jack now, but the switch to jump the channels is still there, also the Presence has been moved to the front panel. I'll try to get photos of what the current amp looks like up on our site and over to Brad as well.

If you don't engage the Jose-style clip circuit by pulling the Master, what's the bare bones circuit in this amp? Is it essentially a 2203 clone, or is it a completely new circuit design with the Jose added for additional flexibility?

It's not based on a 2203, but an actual José modded 1959 Superlead that Ossie bought from Bradshaw years ago.
 
And I don't have any Marshall style amps...

Man, that is tempting. The 3 Monkeys I've played/heard are amazing.
