is the CCV able to receive also CC Messages in addition to PC Messages ?

Very nice! Curious, why are there 8 preamp tube holes and only 5 tubes?

The chassis comes punched for the extra holes. We put little plastic filler caps in the unused holes before they ship. This amp was the LA Amp show amp and didn't get the filler caps yet. Just cosmetics.

I thought that was so Friedman can mod it

Just to let you know, I live in Detroit (close to Metro) and if you need photos of any of the new amps while they're being built or any behind-the-scenes stuff (or product shots) I am a commercial photographer and feeling generous since I'm a fellow rig-talk member. Cool, but-- How do you select, in a multi-MIDI component System--where different devices are communicating on different MIDI channels, what channel it'll react to?

imo, dunno why...never found the front to be overly exciting looking (a bit heavy on the black/black/black for me), but wow, the back of this amp looks tasty!

Well, it is program change only, not a CC. Whatever PC you activate on the controller, press write on the amp and it will write to that PC.
