Can you select which MIDI channel the amp operates with?, or does it default to a particular MIDI channel?

It's OMNI.

Cool, but-- How do you select, in a multi-MIDI component System--where different devices are communicating on different MIDI channels, what channel it'll react to?

Well, it is program change only, not a CC. Whatever PC you activate on the controller, press write on the amp and it will write to that PC.

Ex. My RS10 (Double expanded) sends out 4 PC#'s per preset, w/ 16 banks of 8 presets:

Bank #1/Preset #1=
PC#1= MIDI Channel #1 = Lexicon/ MIDI mapped per preset
PC#2= MIDI Channel #2= TC2290/ MIDI mapped per preset
PC#3= MIDI Channel #3= H8000FW/ MIDI mapped per preset
PC#4= MIDI Channel #4= Amp channel/ MIDI mapped per preset

Bank #1/Preset #2=
PC#1= MIDI Channel #1 = Lexicon/ MIDI mapped per preset
PC#2= MIDI Channel #2= TC2290/ MIDI mapped per preset
PC#3= MIDI Channel #3= H8000FW/ MIDI mapped per preset
PC#4= MIDI Channel #4= Amp channel/ MIDI mapped per preset

So, how do I write, ex Preset#1, Bank #1, MIDI channel #4 (Clean channel)?
Preset#2, Bank #1, MIDI Channel #4 (Gain channel)?

Video shows dilema:

imo, dunno why...never found the front to be overly exciting looking (a bit heavy on the black/black/black for me), but wow, the back of this amp looks tasty!

I've heard you like things from behind!!

ouch...... why everyone so harsh...
extra tube holes chassis might also be used for CCM as to there is another gain stage?
what if client insists on tube driven loop, mark wanted to be able to accomodate. Extra holes are a good thing.

pics look rad.

Does the CCM have another gain stage? :checkthisout:

im not sure. i remember talking with him about it and I beleive its just using that extra half a triode and making it a plate driven tone network but sometimes it makes it way quieter when you split gain stages off the same tube and leave them all by themselves on their own triode. The extra holes are simply for thinking ahead. better more than less.

Yeah all unholy teasing aside, I heard the CCV at TM for a few minutes the other day, I was impressed, Glad I have one on the way, sounded killer.. I was kinda shocked how wide the shifts are with the switches.. And Mark was there too It was a pleasure to meet him he was really cool, It's good to see the amps coming out great and the past organization issues getting remedied_ Pretty neato With Cameron Diezel and Friedman it's an awesome era for rock guitar amps!
