The layout is simply awesome looking and functional.

This will end GAS period, well except maybe for a Halo-Regulus-Gryphon.

Congrats dude! I have my third being built now as well. :rock:

We are an elite bunch when it comes to Peters amplification around here. Maybe because Peters owners are too busy playing there amps to post. :lol: :LOL:
 
Hell yeah, I'm dying to try out one of James' amps. dude make some killer stuff.....

Oh yeah, what are getting?

A 3 channel? The first one is being built right now.

Witch channels do you have again, i don`t remember, do you have the FSM and Hydra or is it somebody else?

Peters amps are truly amazing, people don`t realize what there missing.

I'm getting a triple channel soon, too. I can't wait. I need to sell some of my current amps to finance it. I'm probably getting a Halo/Vega/FSM first.
Peters amps have completely spoiled me when it comes to any other amps I ever try. There's nothing like them out there.

Congrats on the incoming amp. You already know that you're going to love it. How many of us have multiple Peters amps now? I don't know if any other amp builder has as many repeat customers, ha. That probably says something. :)
 
I've always wanted to check out a Peters

They kind of remind me of a Splawn by the clips that I hear (dry,tight and articulate). Anyone try both and have a conclusion?
 
Hopefully I'm doing this right and the picture James sent me will show up. If I did it right you should be looking at the first Peters triple channel. It's going to be a Halo, Hydra, Chimera. Wish I could have checked out the Hydra and Chimera first, might have got a Vega instead of the Hydra or Chimera. I understand there's some overlap with the Hydra and Chimera but that's cool, I'm guessing my Wizard MTL 50W will cover some of the Vega ground.
If the picture doesn't show up, sorry for that. The new grills look amazing, the pic has a black grill but we're going to look at the stainless as well when he gets them. (hopefully soon, the suspense is killing me) Maybe I'll name it the GAS slayer.
I'm thinking this'll be the one they float me down the Ganges with. I must be the luckiest dude on earth "THE FIRST PETERS TRIPLE CHANNEL" has a nice ring to it. I'm just surprised I'm the first one who put up the cash. All you other "wanna' own a Peters dudes" start saving your pennies, this thing's gonna' be the bomb!
The layout is so clean and well thought out dialing it in will be a breeze. Classy and refined, the velvet sledgehammer. Thanks for looking
 
Can his amps have midi implemented into them? And what is the build time from deposit to shipment for the 3 channel monsters?
 
I'm pretty sure James will never go down the midi road. I don't even want to tell you the wait time, it's been quite a while but it's the first and he had to order everything, I guess he didn't want to put out the cash till somebody got serious. He's been working and reworking the board layouts etc.. and if you know James, he's gotta' get it right before he puts his badge on it.
All I know is it's gonna' be killer for sure

Mine is paid for too, well minus a couple hundred for added goodies....

I just can`t wait to get it, i`m also going with the new grill, in stainless with a blue anodized face plate, white knobs, blue led`s and white chassis. This thing is going to be killa!!!!!!!!!

Man, those are beautifully and functionally laid out.
 
Very Cool!!! James is such a good dude ( as well as being a very smart cat) and his amps are really things of beauty. The insides are so friggin clean and he has some very cool unique features that you dont really see anywhere else( AFAIK) .

James came down from Canada for an ampfest a few years ago and crashed at my place here in NYC. I actually went and ate at a Vegan place with him( havent done it since!!!!) but hanging with him was a great time for sure and we got to blast one of his amps( dont remember the model) at full bore..

I can't fucking wait to get mine. I ordered a Halo/Vega/FSM. Same look as this picture, which looks UNREAL. Seriously. So unique, badass, and classy. I'm fortunate enough to be familiar with all three channels I'm getting, but I am still super excited.

Nothing wrong with getting the second one Plank Cranker Wanker, looks like you have no shortage of toys there! Originally I was just going to get a dual channel Hydra Chimera and get my cleans from the Wizard but then I have to lug around two heads. I'm sure once James has maximized the efficiency of his board layouts he'll be able to pump them out a little quicker. I'm waiting to see the stainless too, but I'm sure digging the all black with the blue lighting.
I'll be running the head into two 1X12 front vented Stephenson cabs loaded with 12" EV speakers that were pimped out by Randy Bergner at ELS Pro Audio. Randy is no longer with us god bless, but I'm sure glad I got those speakers before his untimely demise. The Stephenson 1X12's sound huge, I'd put them up against any 4X12, they sound absolutely massive. Good luck waiting for your triple channel, I know the anticipation is killing me, but hey man, well worth the wait I'm sure!
 
Looks fantastic! I have one in the queue as well. You've upped my anticipation and I'm sure it will be worth the wait!

Oh wow... Halo, Hydra, Chimera? I want that model!!! I recently bought the Hydra 2 channel at the end of 2011 and its so amazing. I tell you what... If you ever want to sell that Halo/Hydra/Chimera triple channel... LET ME KNOW :) Then you can try a different combo.. with the Vega:)
 
Wow, that looks killer and I bet the stainless/blue/white combo will be awesome too.

So seriously, what is the build time?

I really should try one of these out sometime. I could finally buy a new amp and not have to pay import costs - given that they are made right here in the Great White North.
