I love the looks. Are your sure that the tonezone isn't in the bridge and the steves special isn't in the neck??

Nice Steve! I never figured you for that style/shape for some reason.

Sorry - Air Norton in the neck, not Tone Zone. Steve's Special for sure in the bridge... Edited my original post...

Wow, sick pair of guitars. Where did you find the Kelly? I am always searching for a cool one but that never showed up on my radar.
I got the Kelly new at Fuller's Vintage in Texas...

Steve

Wow, I normally don't dig the odd shaped guitars but that is really something, sweet.

Killin' me with this, man... I was really hoping this photoshopped picture was dead... Now it'll be back to the top of Google images when someone searches for Henning Amplification...

I've tried to maintain a sense of humor on this one, but I get sick of seeing comments online like "What the hell is with the Henning Amps guy wearing that half shirt at the Amp Show?" as if it's actually real... :aww:

Steve

Sorry Steve. I removed the pic. I had no idea anyone thought that was real.

I mean not that your abs aren't smoking in real life. :D

I know, it seems crazy, but I've seen more than one comment indicating that people thought it was real (and that I must be insane). Thanks for removing it, man...

I ordered online, although I used to go to Austin quite a bit in my last job...

HUGE Jackson nut here, and the Kelly is "my" go to guitar.

But.... I have to say it, I'm not digging that paint scheme at all. Kind of plain to me. I like the inlays though.

Love it!!!!! I find the RR's easy to play sitting down put v on right thigh and hold in classical guitar position. Keeps your wrist straight also for proper hand alignment I was told. I play my tele and Hamer studio the same way now. In Any case that is one nice looking guitar.

MrHiwatt
I can play it sitting down just as you say, it just isn't the most comfortable for me balance-wise. I feel like I'm partially holding it up rather than just playing freely. I'd just rather play it standing up.

Steve

Hello Steve,

I had a similar Kelly from Jackson in the middle of the 80s.
She was comfortable while sitting on the chair tweaking
the Marshalls. Important is to leave the strings while
soldering on the running engine to get no shock
