Thanks dewds much obliged.

I work out alot and am a cyclist, i met a fellow female cyclist who is a soft tissue expert into yoga, Thai massage & Thai strecting among other stuff.

She did a pro-bono session on me yesterday as my shoulder has been killing me all year, since last year really.

Turns out ive had a dislocated shoulder all this time including working out with weights, roofing and 50 mile rides.

She put it back into socket in the coolest session ive ever had.

Pain free for the first time in many months.

Taking time off the gym to heal.

Thing i'll jam on that 1960 Burst today.

I love the 498T and the 500T's. They do sound different in different guitars. I had a white custom a few years ago and thing thing sounded great and it had a 498T in it. I also had an explorer that had the 500T and it rocked too. I knew when you said it screamed it wasnt a 57 classic.

As for the dislocated shoulder....mine has dislocated 7 times and I finally had surgery to prevent it. You just can't walk around with one dislocated and not know it. Maybe displaced somewhat or something, but dislocated means it is completely out of the socket. There would be a huge gap between your shoulder and arm. It looks sick and it is extremely painful. I mean like blackout pain. When it happens to me, I have to go to the emergency room, they knock me out and use traction to put it back in. I've actually had it put back manually but they had to wrap my body in a sheet, tie it to the bed, the doctor put his foot on the bed and use all his weight to put it back in. Traction is way easier.

Incidently, the first time I dislocated it, I was racing BMX. overshot a jump and hit the front side of the next one with my shoulder. Once it happens, there's like a 90% chance it'll come out again.

Nice looking LP. I'd remove the pickguard if it was mine.

...Nothing fake about Orville...
You mean other than it was made in Japan, with Japanese hardware & electronics, and finished in polyester?

I have a separated shoulder which is a ligament issue not a dislocation.

Uh.... Nothing wrong with Japanese guitars, or Edwards. At least the Edwards i have.

Nice LP! I always thought that the Classic was the best Bang-for-your-buck in the Gibson line, which may explain why they got rid of them and sort of made the Traditional it's replacement...with a higher price tag.

As for the Orville, it looks like the fretboard is rosewood. Any idea what species Orville was using back then?

It's not the people who live in your neighborhood you need to worry about. It's the ones cruising-through that you need to concern yourself with.
