It's tough when they set the bar so high with the 1st album. This stuff sounds good, but nothing new.

I'll check it out when it comes out though.

It sounds good . . . but disappointed it's just another Lynch EP. I don't think anything can come close to Wicked Sensation, but I sometimes forget that album is 22 years old now.

Smoke and Mirrors wasn't bad at all - but Sound Mountain Sessions may be a better album.

I agree that the guitars are a little low in the mix, and this has been fairly consistent with Lynch's last few albums. Just seems a bit dead in the guitars, underpowered for lack of a better expression. I would honestly like to hear an album with Lynch using nothing but his sig gear.

This was produced by a friend of mine Chris Collier at the same studio that I just finished tracking an 11 song album at. He's a busy guy, I gotta wait for him to finish mixing another record before he can do mine (he mixed and mastered the Lynch Mob stuff too). Their gear was up there when I was tracking etc. so I know exactly what they had up there Chris is also going to be doing some gigs on drums for them too. I think it sounds great. I even got to use one of George's mic pre's for my vox
