My local GC has them in stock...I am trying to save money for a Japan trip (planning to buy some guitars while there), but I am SOOO on fence about heading down to grab one. It's like one minute and I'm "2 tears in a bucket fuckit, let's go get it" and 5 minutes later I'm saying to myself "just wait".

Sad thing is I never owned a Marshall until I bought a used JVM a couple weeks ago for $800 and I really love it with my pedal board...so I'm fresh off doing all sorts of Marshall research and really want to try a JCM800 at some point.

Nope, screw that shit, I literally just spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to call GC to verify they had it at the store before I drove down there. A lesson in frustration. Rang rang rang, then put me on hold forever, they hung up. I called 6 more times, and only once a girl answers and as soon as I got half way through "hello, I'd like to speak to someone about an amp in stock or not...click", the other 5 times, no one answers...made me remember why they're a dying business and I stopped giving money to GC. I'll wait....

MF is just as bad. I've been waiting over a week for a refund. No email responses, jerked around on the phone, and forever hold times, and still no answers.

I'm surprised people still use MF. Certainly we hear more bad gear stories than good ones, but MF is by far the one I hear most of regarding bad experiences. It's been at least ten years that I've heard MF horror stories and they don't seem to be getting any better.
