Remember that thread I had asking what I was up too? This is the final product and I am very impressed with the outcome,

The main wood is native to Australia called Jarrah and the front panel is flame maple and wedge for the pinstripes, Brad who is the owner of MC Custom Cabinets layed out many options that I had and sent pictures of the wood that he had in stock. The Jarrah is a very hard wood so no worries about the structure as I can stand on this shell no problem. 100% dovetail joint construction and his miter work on them is great, very tight and exacting fit. Some of the pics show white in the grain, that is the flash of my 5+ year old digi camera as the finish is very consistant throughout the shell. Brad also included new mounting screws and washers to use, much better quality hardware.

One downfall maybe for some, the amp weighes as much as a Herbert if not more now so thank god for the comfy leather strap. I cannot say enough about Brad and his customer service, I have many 20 PMs with pictures of the progress and the shell was packed extremely well for the trip from Aussie land. BTW this shell I believe will fit a Plexi chassis as well if I remember right.

That looks great, I wonder if he can do a headshell for my AC30CC1....

I am sure that he could, give Brad a shout out y0

Best looking Marshall head I've seen...now you need a gold plated Marshall logo for the front.

That'd be even better than the fish-tank-shoes pimps used to have!!! A fish-tank amp head!

That looks great! That won't fit a Super Lead chassis, though... The opening for the controls is too big all around (both long and high.)

Also, I'd be scared to death of gigging with something like that. It would get beat up really quick.

Brad said something in a PM, have to dig it up but you could be right. The opening on the JVM shell is about 3 1/4".

I do not gig like you but that amp leaves my house every Sunday for jams for the past 6 months and I just stick it on the back seat but yeah I will cry when that first ding comes. For the people yelling about the construction of this amp I have had zero problems for the past 6 months at loud volumes and not one knob has fallen off  We play everything from Cream to Social Distortion and all it takes is a guitar volume pot and that cool footswitch to cover it all.

I love that amp.

Looks great. If anything it looks TOO classy...well, for a schmo like me.

Looks great Scott!

Now the knobs are fully protected from wobbliness, gig ready?

Hey Scott that looks great man!!

Does that Jarrah headshell weigh a fair bit? They use Jarrah for Railway sleepers... Me and my dad made a load of benches out of Jarrah and they weighed so much, we nearly broke our backs carrying each bench together!! :D

You have no idea what heavy is bro. I made a strat out of cherry, with maple oversized neck and headstock and ebony board. Close to 15lbs. :aww: Sounds killer though.

Very cool, glad it worked out  and yeah, I can confirm that Brad is World Class when it comes to taking care of people

Here's another one he did in regular tolex:
