Trailrun100s just had him install the Hybridmaster+ in a plexi for him, so maybe he can chime in. I would love to here some clips with a clean boost, a TS and a few other OD's boost. I would have to guess it sounds pretty amazing. I know....another thread.

I checked out a few demos, and the Hybridmaster does sound cool, BUT - and this is a big one for me, he states it will bring a Plexi down to 1 or 2 watts. Cool, but as we know, 2 watts is still pretty loud!

So I imagine an attenuator will still be needed to lower the volume for home use.

I'm not sure about the plexi, but his british dream amps sound great down to very low volumes. Some of the best I've heard. And, from, the reviews I've read, it sounds better at very low volumes than most any master volume. I Just thought the hybridmaster+ works the same as any master volume? Just turn the knob until it's quiet enough. Or is it clicks like an attenuator? Of course, it isn't going to sound as good cranked but usable at low volumes. Personally, I'd just as soon use a modelor with headphones if I have to be that quiet. If I'm playing through an amp, it's going to be louder than the TV anyway.

Like I said maybe trailrun can chime in.

The BEST amp I have heard in years. Too bad about the price but, yeah, I get this. George has been doing great designs for years. The real deal, unlike the many wannabe amp builders that pop up that charge insane prices, yet nobody uses or buys them. This smokes them all. Congrats, George. You knocked it out of the park.

great thing about the sound on that is the ability to play the amp without all that buzzy preamp compression. Seems like you could clean boost it more with pedals beyond what is there and it would sound very musical.

Anyone heard anything more about this amp. I am interested in a Friedman Smallbox but this caught my eye. Pretty cool with a lot of features but the pricetag, yikes! then again, it is about the same price as the BE-100 new. Seems like the Plexi channel on the smallbox cleans up pretty good with the guitar volume but I didn't see that really demonstrated on this one demo.

Just watched a new demo on YT he did of this amp Nov 22.
Sounds amazing

Last I heard is that George is doing some final tweeking.
