Jesus..so there's really only 200 rev. 2's ?? Kind of disheartening since I'd love to have one someday.

I might give them a call for you guys. There should be some kind of list floating around.

They go up for sale from time to time... I got mine on eBay for way lower than the usual going price.

That's awesome. I think yours is magical as well...

I figured prices would be outlandish due to lack of supply.

Nah, they seem to go for around $1700-1900, about the same as used Twin Jets. Rev Blues are a bit lower at around $1500-1700. I got my Rev 2 for $1550. :D

That's a steal! Definitely heaps jealous man. Once I purchase it I have to pay $400 to ship it here, then pay 10% customs duty on the total price of the amp and shipping... fml

If you can afford it, then i will say this:

I bought mine new with the metal grill for $2850 US in 2004. It was very expensive for me, but i would definitely do it again. The Rev 2, if its your kind of sound, are very hard to beat for big clear clean sounds and massive high gain sounds. Ive said this before, but its like theres a whole encyclopedia of distortion sounds because of the flexible eq and crazy presence control.

So, in a nutshell, here's what im trying to say. If its your kind of amp and you enjoy it like i do mine, you wont regret the price one bit.

Good luck, i hope you find one soon.

I completely understand. I've heard recorded tones which are exactly what i'm hearing in my head. I'm completely prepared to pay, as soon as I sell my krank and find one to buy.

I have a Uberschall Green Rev number 330. Serial in symbols (triangle/triangle/bar). No external bias points, volume pot for fx-loop,... So more than 200 made from Green Rev for sure :)
