Ok.... just a fore warning.
I had limited time when I made these and werent sure how they would come out.
Moving crap around in the garage. Couldnt stand it and had to play the pedal mid work.
I almost wasnt going to post them but fuck it. I will make some better ones later.
Wanted to really do a true A/B test with the pedal on a clean channel and the amps gain.
But the only amp I have running now is my ENGL Fireball 100 and it has a shared EQ for both the clean and lead channel.
When I had the lead side dialed in on the amp....it wasnt working for the pedal and vice versa.
This pedal is SUPER SENSITIVE and responds to every little movement with the amps EQ as well as its own.
Let me start.....THING SOUNDS GREAT!!
Its very aggressive. I didnt play with the gain trim. But there is instructions in the box. Seems easy enough.
Was just running on a long day yesterday.
So you can see.....the Engl was pure clean. All this gain was from the BE. And yes it did play and feel like the real amp.
I played hundreds of pedals and this one is in its own if you know what I mean.
I was just goofing with it for response so take the clips for what they are.
Rolled back the guitar volume when playing with it on and it did clean up very nice.

Anyhow.....

Here ya go

I agree! Hey just curious, do you guys think it makes a huge difference what clean tube amp channel the pedal is going thru? For example, will a Fender Blues Junior with EL84's sound just as good with the pedal as an KT88 packed Marshall? I know obviously going into a 4x12, etc. makes a difference but just wondering.

I was thinking the same thing. Would this sound different on my Mesa?
The Engl by itself is super aggressive. So I was wondering if this came into play in the clean channel with the BE?
But the clean when I was playing it was very very clean in the room. Came off a little more gritty in the video.
Also the Pedal comes across a tad more gainy then how it sounds in the room. Old youtube Compression strikes again.

Got my fuses coming in this week. Will have a whole channel dedicated to the BE pedal on my Mesa. Then I can do a good A/B test for sure.
It just wasnt working without spending a few minutes tweaking the amp when switching from Clean to Lead.

Sounds great dan.... Enjoy it
Thanks Vince!
Just saying this thing is really so damn sensitive to both its own knobs and the amps. The slightest movement of a knob can throw the whole thing out of whack. Looks like there are tons of different tones in this thing.
And yes.....I am glad I bought it.

This pedal is so bad ass. I tried one out a few days ago thru my line 6 Flextone III which is just my at home mess around amp. I didn't have very high expectations with that setup. Holy hell, as soon as I kicked the pedal on, instantly chubbed up. This pedal is outstanding. Normally I can't get along with drive pedals but this one has some kind of unicorn horn magic going on with it. I'm anxious to try it out with my Mark V thru the clean channel once I get my cabinet.

Yeah this thing is pretty FN cool! :D

Is it an amp? Nope.
Does it sound better then Amps I have owned in the past??
Bet your ass it does.
Just going to use it as an extra flavor to dive into.
It does have its own thing going on for sure. ;)

It is driving me bonkers trying to figure out what Dave did. :) The pedal is a little larger than a pack of cigarettes, light, and extremely simple. Amazing what he was able to jam into this sucker! :)

All I know is this little gem is a stand alone tone machine.
Can't wait to run it thru other amps this week.

Got the reply that the Fuses are landing early part this week.
Time to fire it all up. ;) ;)

I know right?? Its just an insane tone...out this little box.
I need to check it out on other amps....
But i ALREADY Know the score. ;)

Very cool. Just got my Be-od the other day and wow. For such an outstanding sounding pedal, I Expected there to be a little more under the hood. Gonna try it thru my Tone King - SkyKing, and 76' Hiwatt Dr103( Set to absolute clean). Gonna try and post the results, but it will be via my phone. Not set up right now to mic up anything. Curious, is your recording with your phone too? Sounds good if it is. BTW, your garage looks like mine, so don't feel bad!

 killer! I've run mine through my 2016 BE clean and my Voodoo modded Uberschall clean and they have slight differences for sure..granted my amp EQ is quite different on both. But overall it gives the same flavor of gain... Of course I prefer both amp gain channels to the pedal, BUT having it on my pedal board gives added versatility and basically another gain channel. My main reason for having it is in case I gig or go to a rehearsal with just my guitar and my pedal board...it is insurance to KNOW that I will ALWAYS have a crushing gain tone if the provided amp sucks balls. Prob the best $200 I have spent on gear since I can remember.

Thanks for checking.
Recorded it with a zoom q3.
I ordered some fuses so my Mesa should be up and running in a couple days.
Then I can make the 'exclusive ' BE channel.
Trying it on a shared eq amp will work if you want clean and lead.
But if you want multiple gain channels need sepeeate eq.
For sure. One of my best purchases to date.
What a great little box.

Sounds pretty cool man! Gonna have to get on and check out the details on that one.
