Gonna make a few more clips today.
Use the Gibson with the Aldrich.
See how different guitars respond.

Sounds killer! Here goes another $200 in the name of G.A.S.

That I need to hear! I had a Aldrich in one of my Les Pauls years ago and loved it. The only reason I haven't put one in is because I have a Motor City Pickups 2nd Degree Black Belt and sounds so good.

YEah played it with the Kamikazie and the X2N.
Really an agressive guitar combo.

So 1984 Gibson Flying V with the Aldrich coming up later.

So does the BE pedal through the clean channel on your ENGL sound much different than your ENGL's high gain channel without the pedal?

I've been thinking about getting one of these but my amps have great sounding high gain channels without a boost.

Would getting one of these to run through the clean channels really offer anything I don't already have?

I'm being critical here... I hear that typical high end buzz/ presence that all of Friedman amps have (it what I've been saying for years). I'm wondering if it is the cameras or recorders?

With that said, I should have one of these in my possession soon. lol

Think about this scenario and how awesome it would be. Completely clean channel with the BE-OD when you need Marshall type crunch and also a different type distortion on the other channel of an amp (Recto, ENGL, etc.). I think that is the cool thing about this pedal. Since it has the growl and feel of an amp, it is like having an extra channel.

Yeah, I know that sound you are talking about. Some love it and some hate it. :) I'll be curious to see what you think of the pedal, especially since you own/have owned a lot of the amps that I love.

Same thoughts here - psychodave has always posted some of the best high gain tone clips on any board, period. I have several of his that I use as reference clips in fact, would love to hear his FIRST HAND thoughts and clips of the BEOD, hope he lands the pedal soon, one way or another. I'm still very much diggin mine fwiw.

So im hearing from others that this pedal is for "clean" channels only.

Kinda bypasses the whole reason to have a modded Marshall eh ?

Id like to use it on gain channels be ive been told it doesn't really do that well ...

I have never associated Friedman amps with buzz or presence just the opposite. I have neither issue with my small box or the be od. I think the pedal is going to react different to certain styles of amps.

Great clip!!!!     This pedal does rock even plugged into the LG mode of the Cameron Atomica with no diode clipping. Does it replace any of my amps. Nope just gives a different flavor and will be handy to use with a clean amp especially a smaller combo.
