New Pedal From BOSS - NPD

I just picked one of these up for only $59. Check it out, a limited edition black BOSS DS-1. I heard about this the other day from a guy who works at Guitar Center and he says it's a lightly tweaked DS-1. I was planning on buying a DS-1 to mod anyway, so I figure I'd give this one a shot first.

Don't know man. It just came out. I went online to order DS-1 so I could mod it, but came across this one. I'll play it tonight and let you know if it's any different than the regular DS-1.

If it's anything like the DS-1, it'll need to be modded. Oh wait, it's a LOT like the DS-1 except instead of being Orange and Black, it's Black and Orange. It'll need to be modded.

Damn, had you asked about the HW808 in the forum I would have recommended the six degrees sally drive.

Killer ts808 clone (classic) or modified version (advanced) at that price point. In terms of HW and "mojo" it outdoes the ibanez.

As for the tone, sounds great! Warm as the originals and seems more transparent as well.

Turns out the black DS-1 is only a different housing. I went ahead with it because I was going practice with a couple of mods myself.

I've got a TS808HW and it's one of my top 3 pedals. I've compared it numerous times to the 808 reissue and 35th anniversary, and it just has a better feel and sweeter sound. Really hard to tell, but there's a difference.
