This is an insane giant pedalboard rig built for a client. It utilizes 7 RJM FX Gizmos, and 7313 miles of cable. If you stack the pedals end to end, they will reach the moon.

There is not room to put the signal path here. Each pedal has it's own loop, on the smaller board 4 items are in stereo utilizing two of the RJMs.

Mark (and Dave of course)

Why? I dont have Daves experience of course but wouldnt it be much more practical to rack the effects?

Im guessing that the client wanted it in this format but I just cant see any real point of logic to this layout but thats just me..

So David Gilmour's going on tour? Awesome!

exactly what I was thinking, well except for the wah obviously. Guess the guy likes to tweak them too

That's one big pedalboard indeed... I wonder who uses such a complicated setup.

Well he should but youd be surprised...

Beautiful work...can't imagine using more than an OD pedal, wah and noise gate myself but then I only play my garage :-)

I'm with Kage on this one. The word "overkill" comes to mind, and this coming from a guy that has a large pedalboard himself...

That being said, it "looks" cool. :D

Im not saying that its overkill, who am I to say what anyone needs to express themselves musically, ya know? I just dont see the point of multiple boards when everything can be racked and only one board is used for control...

Personally, Id love to hear the end users reason/mindset for going this route..

Dang. And to think that I have trouble just switching between clean/dirty on time.....

Wow, that might be a new "Kitchen Sink" that RackSystems has to offer. The work is art,,,,

That's what I was thinking, why not rack all those effects. Whatever they want though. Either way, the work looks great, good job Mark (and Dave of course).

This looks like a board for a dude that like to play with alot of knobs...I think it's a technological marvel. Wonder how it sounds with EVERYTHING on.
  Crazy!!! Killer looking board for sure but damn thats still a fuckload of buttons

I'd like to see what Frusciante's set up would look like after the Racksystems blender. I think he's got, oooooooooooooh, 5 times the number of stomps at his toes.

Otherwise, clean work - as always - I think it looks tight. But ya, interesting to wanna have them all out in front and not racked.

Fun fact: If you just look down the labels on the foot controller on the far right side you get "sex pirate rainbow", which is also the answer to the above question "I wonder how it sounds with EVERYTHING on?" :)

Cool, but no thanks. I can't even drag a 12-space around.

Fair play.

Some of those pedals have to be on the floor - such as the EH Freeze. However, all of the single function pedals that are either 'On' or 'Off' would be better situated in a rack - especially given they are simply accessed via loops of the GCX using the midi board.

Regardless, it is great work by Dave and team!

I hope the owner doesn't drink.... I'd trip and break my neck on that thing
