Can this client really play, or do they have more money than they know what to do with?

I want to be impressed by it, but something about it really turns me off. It reeks of someone too obsessed with gadgets that don't really matter. To each his own.

Nice clean work though. Not knocking that at all.

Have the overwhelming feeling the owner of this board can't play to save his life LoL...

NOT that there is anything wrong with being passionate about gear and guitar playing, gotta admit I'm just kinda jealous, lots of serious stuff on those boards...

All that aside though, absolutely STELLAR work Mark and Dave, I can't tell you how many times I've almost PM'd one of you asking you to wire my entire rig for me... but to be honest I'm just terrified of what I think it may cost!!!

Dayum.....I would need a bullseye painted on switch #13....."Dry Amp".

RHCP's or U2 going on tour soon? Nice work as usual Dave, but I would get stage fright looking down at that, and having to depend on it to get my point across!

I wouldn't say this is that weird if the guy is a studio player...but to use this on stage would be silly. A rack makes much more sense. Regardless some very nice pedal choices and a great build by Rack Systems.

With all the technology today as far as ProTools and amazing software, and the way you approach recording guitar these days... it would be even MORE weird if the guy had this built for studio use

All I have to say is clips!

Rackdoctor puts out some insane clips of his boards so you get an understanding of what the client is looking for so it answers questions.

Nice work but I would have racked that stuff.

Redundant! Not racking the very effects controlled by the CAE board makes no sense to me?? Is this just in case he wants to get on his knees to tweak knobs on the fly? Why do that on the ground? BUT!!!!!........the customer is always right! Is the "pedal" board going to be utilized off stage for a tech to control?

Probably wants to tweek on the fly ala Nels Cline and Sonic Youth.

FF to about 8:50. Not my thing, but know lots who think this is "Genius"

This pedalboard comes complete with Mr. Sulu and Chekov to help you work all those buttons!

His rational is that it's easier to move then a rack. With these he can move them himself with a rack he can't get it into a car by himself . It's overkill for sure but he does use it all. It was cool to look at for sure and the cae RST is a killer pedal. The best out there right now. Anyway we are going to try and do some videos of boards in the future but to be frank one leaves and we are just hammering on the next thing to do. I need 48 hours in a day to get it all done.

Beautiful work...can't imagine using more than an OD pedal, wah and noise gate myself but then I only play my garage :-)

There is a possibility this might never leave his garage/livingroom too.
