Makes sense since they cut the MTS line.

And of course the new stuff is the greatest stuff since sliced bread!

Most likely expensive as hell too. The new KH sig is CRAZY expensive from what Im hearing

Maybe not as much as the 6K$ original Meathead

Good thing to target different crowds with their new line of products

Sorry to say, nothing about Scott Ian intrigues me enough to buy his sig amp.

Remember back when MTS was the greatest thing ever! ? lol

MTS is still pretty great in my book. Fortin just happens to be the man of the hour. And rightfully so.

What's douchey about Scott Ian? Aside from the whole NOT thing   I haven't really paid much attention to him but he always comes off as a pretty genuine, down-to-earth guy in interviews...And the first S.O.D. record??? Priceless.

I like Scott Ian. He seems like a straight ahead guy. I don't hear anything about his tone that's signature. Rat boosted Marshall is my take.

I thought it sucked when Ian said he'd rather have John Bush as his singer than Joey Belladonna. Said that after Bush dumped them. If Belladonna is so horrible (my words) why is he back in the band? Money?

Worship Music, imho, kicked butt. Belladonna has more range and doesn't sound like he's singing the same thing song after song after song. I was glad when they made the move back to Belladonna. Bush always struck me as a one trick pony.

Perhaps he's not a full-on douche. I lose my objectivity from time to time like any other hack guitarist who thinks he knows what he's talking about. :)

Scott did the rigrundown and I thought/think he's using the Randall MTS style head with a nod to Friedman doing some tone tweaks for him to get his sound.

Loved the new one too but was also a big fan of John Bush. Joey always came across as a wanna be to me but the dude can sing.

I remember seeing Anthrax years ago and scott was using the Slash Sig Jubilee Boosted with a TC Electronics Distortion/Booster that he had taped over all his settings on the pedal. I worked for a short time at the club they played at and got to actually play his Jackson Sufcaster and his back up guitar at the time which was a Gibson SG standard.

Joey era kills the Bush era, IMO. JB is a killer singer no doubt about it but I will always think of him with Armored Saint since I was a fan of him in that band long before he was in Anthrax. I don't think it was JB's fault, either. I think Scott and Charlie were trying too hard to write songs and that changed their sound just enough to throw it off. They never wrote songs anywhere near as good as the songs that were on ATL, SOE, and POT as far as I'm concerned. Yeah, a couple here and there but nothing with the staying power of the classic era songs. WCFYA was the best Bush era record to me and it still gets buried by the three I mentioned earlier.

Worship Music is a killer album start to finish. Dudes in their late 40's killing it like a motherfucker. The songwriting is back.

Bumping this up.
Love the Joey Anthrax stuff.
Boosted JCM800 is Scott's tone.
Wanted to pull the trigger on his latest sig amp, but didn't knowing that the line was going away.
They're still for sale out there for about $2g.
Can't wait to hear more from Anthrax with Joey singing.

Watched one sell on ebay for mid $500's - should have pulled trigger, amp was complete with all 3 modules in mint condish

Probably a tweaked Thrasher... like in the same vein as the Satan +/-.
