What is the preamp pedal approximate cost in US Dollars?

Is the preamp powerful enough to play directly into a Cab Impulse and have the full Elmwood tone like a regular preamp would be ? Would it sound sort of like a Stinger this way ?

Or if you played the pedal/preamp into a clean Fender Twin, what Elmwood amp would it most resemble ?

If it's too high I'll just have to win it..............where do I send the NAME ?

Some updates on the El Toro would be greatly appreciated.

It's almost coming up to a year since it was first talked about???

Calling on Jan - Can we have an update on the El Toro please.

This site is for you so please use it. You can't sell a secret !!! :D

Dear Man with gas and everybody else who's in here occasionally.
Thanks for posting.
The El Toro was released as a prototype at Messe Frankfurt last year.
The idea was to have it ready to hit the stores late spring/early summer 2010.
This was in the middle of the world financial crisis and we had already noticed a slight drop in sales during this period.
The drop went even bigger and we asked ourselves if we should go ahead developing the El Toro, with all the costs and time needed for us to have a final product.
You all know the result, we decided to put the El Toro on hold for awhile.
That being said, it's by no means an ended project and we do hope to be able to pick it up again sometime real soon.

El Toro is based on the same principals as the M60.
I.e, Two channels with separate Eq and boost on each channel.
Dual mastervolumes.
It has a totally new pre and power amp.
External bias measuring and adjustment points.
Tube failure leds.
Tubedriven fx loop, parallel with mix, or serial.
Midi, that controls the amp's functions such as, channel switching, boost on /off, mastervolume switching, fx loop on/off
Needless to say; it sounds killer!

Thanks

Jan
