New Rex Brown album..

Meh...the riff is ok but it's way too repetitive. I tuned out before the end and the song is only 3 minutes long.

This man played in Pantera! The greatest metal band to a lot of people. He can play what he wants and you'd better fuckin like it!!

Just flick over to the 'modern' rock station.

Yeah, I was just going to say "tough crowd." Neat riff and the vocals sounded pretty good. It was a bit generic and just lacking oomph, though. I'd be tempted to blame the producer for that. He should have sent them back in there with some direction for how to step it up in a part or two. I think that's all it's missing.

It's better than Nickelback damnit! I think he's aiming at a more modern rock sound obviously, but it still has a GROOVE. I'd like to see the guy actually get some current airplay after being in underground bands for so many years. It's easily as good as anything on current rock radio, even if that's not saying much.

My meh is because in my opinion that it's just not that good of a song. His voice isn't that good, and it has no power or feeling. The riff wasn't that good. 3 guitarists,none of them outstanding. Kill devil hill was way better.

From "extreme" metal to bland rock. The wussification of Rex Rocker...I mean Rex Brown.
