I don't really have anything to say except the last clip with the VH4 and Hagan was pretty fucking rocking.

Just picked up the SE Electronics VR1 ribbon and did some tests.

I recorded some samples with it, tell me what you think.
Diezel Hagen Ch3.
I used a Gibson LP Goldtop with Arcane Tripleclones for one track and the ESP TE-7 with SD Pegasus for the other.
Cab was a Bogner 2x12 with V30.
first the Gibson - http://www.tonefinder.com/index.php?section=id&value=15437
then the ESP - http://www.tonefinder.com/index.php?section=id&value=15438

With the VH4 - http://www.tonefinder.com/index.php?section=id&value=15439

With the VH4 AND the Hagen - http://www.tonefinder.com/index.php?section=id&value=15440

VERY nice.
I really like ribbon mics for vocals. Didn't think they would be this good with guitar speakers.
Solid, great tones and smooth.

thanks. I usually quad track, so I guess thats the formula :)

The dbl track sounded really good, but I guess I prefer the single track when it's just one guitar player.
DBL track sounds like 2 guitar players. It's not bad at all, just that the single sounds better to my ear when there is one guitar player, unless of course you're playing different parts.
