Exactly. A Line 6 in the right persons hands sounds much better than an expensive tube amp in the wrong persons hands. I love my Pod XT. Is it better than my vintage Marshalls or my Splawn or my Mojave? Yeah, it IS for jamming or recording after the kids go to sleep. Sorry.

It is.... I'm gonna add another Carvin Power Amp once I get the Axe-FX, and the PodXT/Carvin will be my bass rig (it has the bass pack + it will make an extra tool for recording), and I'll have the Axe/Carvin, and Randall/Mesa rigs.....

The Carvin is nice.... Good CLEAN signal, and TONS O' power.

Got it all wired up today.... Preamps seperately into each side of the power amp, and into seperate cabs. Randall sounds KILLER regardless, but still cant wait to get the Mesa 295 in, The PodXT also sounds killer, got a couple cool patches programmed in, now I need to set it up through the bass cab and see how it sounds... if it's as good as I think it's gonna be, my Peavey Mark VIII will go up for sale.
