Here's a couple of pics of my new guitar safe. Wasn't easy getting it in place, but it's done! I've still got to bolt her down at some point. And, I'd like to do something with the interior I think. But, I'm really happy with it for the most part. Looks like it could hold about 6-7 guitars in their cases pretty easily. I think it'll be a decent defense against your average smash & grab type of break-in's.

LOL Guitar safe.. where do you put your guns then?

Under the pillow like always so you have quick access to pop a cap in the MFer trying to break into your safe to steal your guitars.  I'd have to buy 18 of my most expensive guitar to equal the value of the safe.

Oh yeah I got $900 just laying around. Let me run over and pick up one. Better yet, let me grab two. That way I can fit one inside the other and have double protection!

Must be nice.

I see these at Costco and always wonder if guitars fit in there lol good to see they do

Exactly which model is that. You got me thinking too. I would need a couple but at least I could start with one and get my top 6 or 7 in there. Now to find a Costco in NY.

that would make one hell of an iso cabinet =)

'insurance' money well spent i guess

At Costco is the Cannon CS33....everywhere else, it's the Cannon S33. http://www.cannonsafe.com/s33.html

EDIT: BTW, I originally posted that it could hold 6-7......too be more specific, I can definitely say with certainty that it can absolutely hold 7 comfortably.

But slimline cases only, not Gibson Lester cases I bet. They're fatter I believe, and those are what I'd want in my safe if and when such dust would ever settle, so to speak (well, cases with the guitars in them, of course   )

Still interested. Very.

Yep, exactly. Slimline cases such as your G&G variety. I guess I didn't really take LP-type cases into consideration. I'd still have to think that you could probably get 6 of those in there comfortably though.

I'd guess 5 LP cases at best.

Regardless, nice score.

If Costco would only start carrying R9's now...

I've had LP's, .....looking at the safe in person, it'll hold 6. ;)

Time to ditch that paper route.
