I really like the look of that first one, even if it is relic'ed....

had to be. It's for an '80s new wave tribute band. Can't look shiny new.

They look great, I really dig that Military themed one..

The Head stocks look exactly like a Musikraft Jamerson guitar head stock..

Actually, the Jamerson headstock is VERY different. It's just probably hard to tell from the photos that are up right now, but they're not even close. I'll try to get some photos up of just the headstock to get a better look.

Damn Jerry they look great man. Refreshing look too. I gotta get you to do something for the studio...mmmm???? Jerry does all my repair and pickup work, he is the best.

Besides this one they have another one that looks closer to yours..
Either way I dig it, they remind me of the washburn headstocks..

Thanks for all the feedback guys.....really appreciate it. Hopefully you'll really dig some of the new stuff that's on it's way!

Anyway, here's a better shot of the headstock alone. Nothing earth-shattering, just a different take on an old classic without getting way crazy.

so do you make totally custom bodies and shapes? :D

Not going to get into that, yeah it's physically possible for us to do, but it would get way too crazy.

The California Wave...   \:D/  :cheers2: :m17:

Yeah! The Shark Diver California Wave!

Jerry is excellent, so much so I gave him my real 1957 Gibson Les Paul Special to refret for me and I am having him build a USMC themed Luxxtone guitar with the Charvel San Dimas size neck width. Should be cool!

absolutely beautiful, i love that green wood grain kinda like the thurston moore sig. jazzmaster, but with actual features i would want (maple neck..p90 neck HB bridge...maybe a diff trem but that's about it

wish you were based in europe =0

there a ballpark figure on that custom green creation? uber gas inducing, would love to get something similar to specs done

I played the Jag-style guitar last weekend, and the guitar really feels alive with each note and strum...killer resonance with the finish (or lack thereof), and awesome setup and playability as well. I've known John Molen (who helped work on look of these bodies) for years, and he's done some amazing custom finish work with my guitars as well. Luxxtone really have something cool going with these.

I love that. Can you guys do this guitar with a 24.75 scale neck, and the pup selector in a LP spot?

Thanks! Probably not going to get into the 24.75 with the bolt on series....maybe on the set necks in the future.

Give Rob over at Tone Merchants a call, or email. He would be the contact person on pricing and ordering. Still getting that all figured out...these first prototypes were just delivered on Friday. I'm sure Rob will have some pricing together in the next week or so.

That Gibson is going to be awesome once it's done. That guitar sounds AMAZING through my Marshall at the shop, we were all floored once it was plugged in! You should be really happy with it once you get it back. I'll email you over a few ideas for the USMC Luxxtone next week, and get some more details from you. It was great hanging out while you were here.
