New Splawn Streetrod on the way!

Well, I've been saving some pennies, and pulled the trigger on a Streetrod head last night. I've been going back and forth with Scott about it for a bit. It's the same as a Quickrod, but only 50 watts, plus a half power switch. It also has the low volume knob on the back. I think it'll be much more useful to me both at home and playing out. Sound guys are always complaining about stage volume! Can't wait to get the thing delivered!

Yes indeed.
I have both the 50 watt QR in a mid size headshell as well as the SR Combo.

Both are great. Voiced similar, but the QR is just bigger sounding.
Can't go wrong either way though. My SR combo is my workhorse. Playing it at tonight's Halloween gig!!!

So...how would you compare/contrast with the EVH?
