I agree with that as well. Im just kind of sad at what he was and what hes turned into. Discovering EVH as a kid was a magical experience that has never been duplicated by any of the other guitar players that I love, most of which I like a helluva lot more..

two things strike me in this vid

he sounds like oscar the grouch but looks way better than his homeless shoes era or photoshop wheezing witch moments.

if he would have put out a marshall signature amp in 82 nailing that era tone he would have been a gazillionaire but i'm not too excited about what tones his ears are hearing and designing nowadays

in the end, we should al aspire to be more like tunac
