The more I look the more I like. But the one issue I have is that the IR’s I like best are the packs I bought through Fractal and/or mixed with Fractal’s CabLab. Those IR’s are only good on Fractal gear...so I have to believe that Fractal isn’t too far away from coming out with the same. And since I already own a SRL, I think I’m going to wait.

Looks great. However, a cranked non-master volume Marshall puts out way more than 100 watts at clipping (probably closer to 150 watts)....making the Suhr unit not useable (or not safe) for its rating of 100 watts. The Boss Waza is rated for 150 watts.

I think John addressed that on The Gear Page at some point, and it can actually handle more than it says. You should be fine.

I used my SRL with my Diezel Herbert (180w) and it worked fine. I never maxed out the Master, but I had it cranked in what would have been deafening otherwise.

I was worried about wattage also ('74 Orange OR120 non master) and I went with a Fryette PowerStation which can handle 200W @ 16ohm. You give up onboard IR's in that case but gain attenuated reamplification and an effects loops compared to the new SRL. Really curious on what the Waza will be priced at since it seems to have the best of both.

They’re both great. I also have the Fryette Power Station 2. I like the ability to still play through my cabs with that, but I use the SRL about 95% of the time.

bumping this....
you Suhr LB/IR users....still digging it? i'm guessing it comes down to how well the IR's sound?

No 16 ohm has always been weird.

Also, can anyone here recommend a single, simple Celestion IR (greenback or G12H) that will not sound fizzy without post EQ editing?
