New Synergy Marshall JMP module

If they did a DSL (JCM2000) module you could finally have separate EQ’s to balance the two channels properly. The amp always sucked for that with the shared EQ.

The JMP I ordered has shipped. Look forward to giving it a run through this week. Probably going to list the Plexi if the JMP works out. The Killer Kali is most likely going up as well this week. Sounds great but too many options that I can't stop f'ing with.

Ordered mine today as well, I hope it lives up to my expectations. But if this can't do it, I dont think any synergy marshall style module will do it for me. I will stick with my Brahma and call it a day.

The JF modded Brahma was the last module I sold when I got out of the MTS rig. Really wish I still had it. Always have an eye out for one listed for sale. Need to look harder.

The JMP has arrived! Should be able to fire it up tonight.

I've been waiting for this since it got leaked. Super cool, might be the push I finally need to jump in to Synergy.

Hoping to see a JCM module with 800/900 switches, and a Silver Jubilee module as well!

With those two faceplates you should be able to cover a ton of ground! I know it is a ridiculous upgrade but that purple pops!

In a german YT-vid from Guitar Summit 2025 (@ about 44:00, but it's in German), the guy from BAD says that more Marshall modules will be released in the near future. Room for speculations...

So, verdict? Mine gets in end of week I believe.

Was only able to make sure that it worked at a low volume last night. Definitely has some potential though! Flipped all of the switches and played with the Master volumes. Will need to spend some more time with it to get a better feel. Forgot how wooly the low end can get when really pushing a plexi. Been hammering away on the SLOII, 6505, and Killer Kali recently and those can be set way tighter.

The Master volumes on the JMP were cool. I had the SYN-2 master at noon. The module masters did raise and lower the overall volume a bit, but what I really liked was the way that they sounded like the power amp was being pushed the higher they were set. Diming the module masters was fun but made volume matching the SLOII something that I will need to mess with.

Sounds promising! Yes, that's the whole point of that 2nd channel.. it really ramps up the tubby bass quick and I like that they added a bass channel to that one too. Usually on my clone I run the second Vol at 2 and Vol 1 about 3/4 up and everything else set to 7. People also have to realize that if you want to do the everything on 10 trick, Vol 2 doesn't go with it, bass sometimes benefits from a roll back , and you also have to consider the presence knob on the amp that is your host. That sound comes also from driving the presence full out.

I would guess an 800 with some mod switches ( like the latest amp), and a Jubilee. Outside of that, what else would anyone really want or need?

Harley Benton with some nice axes in that lineup too. Looking cheaper to buy one of theirs and then mod it to what you want vs doing a partscaster. They even have a Vega trem on one of them.

The video we need right now. I notice he didn't use the bright switch at the top though which I think would give it the snap it is missing and it might be voiced a tad gainier in some of the clips but I'm thinking with bog boy glass instead of EL84's, it's as close as you can get without the volume issue and a real NMV. Def has that wild hairy thing going on.
