Just messing around in open B major. (Hevy Devy tuning FTW;) Guitar was a Schecter C-1 Classic, JB in bridge. String guage is WAY too light for this tuning.  9-46

Used my iphone, but I can't figure out how to publish to youtube in HD??? Kinda boring riffs, but I'm mostly messing with dialing in my amp for heavier tones and wanted to show a different side of my amp than my usual clips. Anyway, hope you enjoy it...or not.

Dude, that tone wrecks, might want to try some Not Even Slinkies for shits and giggles. am impressed, shows a side of you that says, "he's alright in my book"
Thanks man! So what side of my playing don't you like? :(  Jk...hey there's a cool AIC cover on my page that my buddy and I did, if you're into them.

I just relisitened through some different speakers than my studio monitors, and it sounds a lot thicker and heavy! It sounds great! :rock:And what roadcase is next to amp? I need a new roadcase with a rack on top.

Thanks! You get some great heavy tones, so I appreciate that coming from you :) The road case is a Rock Hard. I got lucky and found it used for cheap at a Music-Go-Round store.
Thanks! I think I have something weird with my monitors in my room, because I always have to record everything very thick, and then on other peoples systems, it sound boomy, and on my speakers it is thin...
How much was the friedman mod for your recto? I may want to get this done to my triple or even my recto preamp sometime.
I believe it came to $335. Definitely worth it for me, but it should be noted that I only use the Vintage mode of channels 2 and 3, and Dave's mod effected the modern mode along with the rest of the amp so it has more open-ness and clarity, which ends up making it really gritty and bright. It can still be used, but I have to do a lot of redialing in the amp.

He told me this would be the case, but I didn't care since I don't use modern anyway. IMO there's no need anyway, as vintage gets really beefy and mean sounding. FYI, just keep that in mind before you decide. ;)
