I've been wanting one of these!! Is it true bypass??

Nope...I'm pretty sure that it's "True Hardwire Bypass"....which is misleading and not true bypass.

Thanks bro!! Thats lame!!

Pretty cool, I would like to try one and see if it's much different than the other wahs.

Quick Wah question guys not related tithe cantrell, there only seems to be a few wahs that have automatic shutoff when you lift your foot off, why aren't there more like that. I have a old crybaby that's like that and I think there's a few morely that have it. Is there any reason we haven't seen it more often.

yeah, if the same tone can be achieved on a 535Q...then its just Dunlop cashing in on the resurgance of AIC. I guess if the sweep is fairly different it might be interesting. I don't care really, but yeah - there are a shit ton of sig wahs.

Is it spring loaded like the Morleys? I thought about buying one cause I don't like the Morley tone, but heard the Dunlop ones aren't real reliable. I'm guessing it's not "traditional" enough so they don't figure they'll sell enough...some people like to leave the wah cocked in one place...who knows?

just an FYI if you like the switchless style wahs like the 95Q which is the one that come stock switchless dunlop will mod the 535Q and the Dime DB01 wah to be switchless like the 95Q if you send it to them. that way you have more tonal adjustments like the stock Dime and 535Q have and still the switchless feature of step on, turn on, step off, turn off. it's not too pricey for the mod either...i think around $50 but e-mail them to make sure.

 Looks good! The only other sigs I played were the Zakk and Dime wahs. I liked the zakk because of the big range and sweep and darker mids. I didn't like the Dime at all. I've been considering a new wah because my Tremonti wah is a little bright, especially for clean playing.

Is there still the tone suck with the THWB? Is it as bad as say, my Vox wah with the SPST switch?

BTW, where can I get a DPDT or TPTT true bypass switch so I can mod my V847?

This is why I've used the Morley Tremonti power wah for years. I love the spring loaded auto on-off feature. I think many "traditional" players like to set the pedal to an "in-between" spot and leave it for different effects, kind of like a frequency filter. Maybe that's why more companies don't use this feature?

I've also heard that the Crybaby 95Q is unreliable.

I have a 95q and i bought it in 2003, i never have any probs with it but i dont use it as much as alot of people do.

i also have a 95Q and have had it for quite a few years and it works and even looks like new still too. so i haven't even had so much as a cosmetic issue with it let alone mechanical or electrical.

hey if it's good enough for Vai to abuse during the audience is listening i don't think i can break it.

(yes that's a 95Q not a bad horsie)

I agree. Enough signature wahs.

EVH
Cantrell
Slash
Hammet
Wylde
Buddy Guy

Enough!!!!!!

As far as the true-byass, true hardwire bypass, etc.

If your wah wah has an LED, and the switch is a 6 pole DPDT, it is NOT true bypass.

If it has no LEDs, and has a 6 pole DPDT, it probably IS true bypass. (like the crybaby classic)
