Fuck that stiletto…. Gonzo… 25th Anniversary rg, 01 Gibson sg special with one p90 and an 80’s USA peavey tracer shredder…. Incoming as soon me and my homie meet up….
I like that red Ibanez!
I didn’t expect to hear that from you….I like that red Ibanez!
Hold up… you got me confused…. You make pups or is this something you tried out and it killed?Killer looking guitars. I would bet that Peavey just shreds!! I know the Ibanez should too. The SG looks like it has killer tones in it.
If I can make a recommendation - test out one of my 'G90' custom pickups. For one of these - Order a 1956 hot P90 bridge pickup from Planet Tone and have them swap the magnet to an A4. They also tend to wind it a bit hotter when they swap out the magnet. Sounds huge.
Sorry for any confusion - I have Planet Tone make pickups to my specs all the time. This is a combination I tried out that absolutely kills. I run mine with a 500k pot with no tone and it has some of the best distorted and clean tones ever. Stomps out humbuckers and all sorts as far as EQ and clarity. Really powerful - again - sounds just as powerful as a humbucker, which always throws me.Hold up… you got me confused…. You make pups or is this something you tried out and it killed?
Awesome thank you! I will definitely keep that in the back of my mind for future use. How do you think that would sound in the neck position with a hb in the bridge? I usually go with bridge model singles in the neck position when paired with a hot hb in the bridge… if that makes senseSorry for any confusion - I have Planet Tone make pickups to my specs all the time. For my 'G90' variant/custom spec'd pickup order as follows: P90 1956 Hot bridge pickup with magnet swapped to an A4. They tend to also wind it a bit hotter by nature due to the swap.
The neck pickup would be their P90 1956 (standard) with the magnet swapped to an A4. Again, they tend to wind them a bit hotter when the A4s are swapped in as well.
The neck is full across the spectrum and still remains tight. Rich deep bass that is clear and won't flub, a full but not overly bloated midrange that gives you what you want when you dig in and a top end that is very full and clear with no shrillness.Awesome thank you! That red Ibanez is all that matters now.I’m gonna put a kahler and an emg on the sg…. Cause fuck it that’s why…
Whats the dcr on that?Killer looking guitars. I would bet that Peavey just shreds!! I know the Ibanez should too. The SG looks like it has killer tones in it.

On the bridge or neck? They are lower than you would think but I think that is why they are so open. Doesn't affect the output or volume. I will check the readings installed, of course they read differently outside of the guitar.Whats the dcr on that?
Nooooooo......blasphemy you sinner!I’m gonna put a kahler and an emg on the sg…. Cause fuck it that’s why…
