NGD 1987 Charvel content!

It is mint! Not even buckle rash! Traded straight up for a Jackson DXMG that I snagged for $200. Hellyeahhh.

What is the best part? SWIMMING POOL ROUTE!

I am going to get a pickguard Jake E Lee style with the same pickup configuration.

The guitar has a gotoh six screw trem, and I may upgrade the block with a big ass brass one. It will be blocked and decked though.

The stock pickups are great, for cleans and blues, nice neck, and zero fretwear. I have 11's on it in Dstd.

Nice!!!! My Charvel fanboi status started back in the mid-80s. That is all my friends and I talked about was getting a Charvel one day. I remember Jake, George, Warren, Vivian, etc. were all playing the Charvels.

My first 'real' guitar was an Ibanez Destroyer....but I longed for a Charvel. Traded my Ibanez in for a purple Model 6, and I was hooked. This was 89. Loved that guitar. Eventually traded the 6 for a 4 plus a Mosvalve power amp and a 4x12. Haha. Those were the days. Had to have the power amp for my almost bought ADA MP1 lol....
The model series are cool guitars. Eventually though, if you like that Charvel neck you have to graduate to a real deal USA. I've owned 2 early-mid 80s USAs and no matter what anyone says, the 08-09s match up well with the originals.

I wasn't born until '90.lol. I am digging the neck on this one a lot.
