NGD: 2017 Gibson Firebird!

I always wanted a Firebird and manged to get a good deal on this 2017 model with OHSC with free shipping for 1k. It needs a setup but otherwise having fun with this thing. Also I was always curious how those mini humbuckers would sound for metal, so far so good Tuned to C# it sounds amazing... even my neighbors think so hahahah

Nope got it on ebay on Black Friday, had a buy it now option for $999. When I saw it came with the case and had free fedex shipping to Hawaii I didn't hesitate.

I love my Firebird! Bought it new back in '02 or '03, just a pleasure to play. It's a little top heavy and the neck seems to sit forward compared to other guitars. To me, the neck feels a lot like my SG Standard ('01, I think). The FB is really versatile. It can purr and scream with the best of them. It's one of the most resonant guitars I have. It's not always my first call, but when that's what I need, it really nails it. Actually, I use it a lot for leads because it's got an incredibly vocal voice.
