NGD after Music Man JP6 went out and a... Tokai came in

Kind of sad about having parted with the JP6. It's such an awesome guitar and I loved the fit and finish and the tone. Such an awesome guitar.

I moved it on after rationalising that I could always get a Music Man down the line, unless some twist of fate means they are no longer available. I don't think that's happening though, so no fear. I'll look out for a used one down the road.

The guitar I purchased using that money is a Tokai LS-120 Reborn. I was particularly keen on a Gibson Les Paul-style guitar, because pretty much all my axes are superstrats, and I've been listening to a lot of Carcass and Jerry Cantrell. Also Ted Nugent and Jimmy Page, who are awesome in my humble opinion.

Here are some pictures.

I'm looking forward to recording some rock and roll music with it, though I'm equally keen on experimenting and pairing it with some high gain amps and playing metal tunes.

Looks sweet. I almost bought a love rock a while back. What’s the difference between a love rock and a reborn?

I am no expert, but the Love Rock came after. The Les Paul Reborn LS-120 was actually Tokai's top shelf instrument when it was released.

But take none of this as gospel, as my only source of information is the internet. I am really not sure about these axes.

Tokai also made things hard to figure out by putting out newer models using the same model codes, which just made it impossible to figure stuff out.
