Picked up a new guitar yesterday, it's an Agile Pro 727, arched top, emgs, neck through, Floyd 7 string, so far I'm liking the guitar.

In my vs. Vid the Uberschall is first, 5150 II 2nd & Krankenstein 3rd. I tried to make the volume levels as even as possible.

Nice to see more Agile owners here at RT :) Congrats.

I was skeptical at first since the pricing on them is so reasonable. Granted this is only the 3rd one I've seen in person, but it's quality is amazing, seriously low action with minimal buzz and sounds awesome.

Damn man you are getting the gear!!!
Think you fit in nicely here at rig-talk.

Yeah I'm on my biggest gas ever! Nearly all my guitars are tuned different. This one is drop G and sounds awesome. The resonance is amazing in this one you can feel it through the entire body, strange since its a Floyd equipped guitar

I have yet to own something outside the 6 string.
At an amp fest a few years back played a Loomis Schecter 7 string and it was AWESOME!
Gonna pull the trigger one day. :D

I have 3 right now, my ground up custom Carvin dc727 tuned to b, DeArmond s-67 tuned to a#, and now this one at drop g or g# hell idk anymore. I like the seven string because it has that low chunk and still keeps the high strings vs down tuning a 6 string you lose the highs, granted I'm not a strong lead player, but I do like the range. Can't get into more strings than 7 though. Tried several 8 strings and they just sound like poop IMO

The Krank has more clarity than the other two. It's a bit bright for my taste, but still cool. it seems like it was voiced for this type of downtuned stuff.

The Krankenstein is one of if not my favorite amp ever. Highly under rated. Never once considered selling it. I play it right next to my Uberschalls and it has no problem keeping up, and sounding as good or better in a lot of cases. It did sound a little bright, this was likely due to the change in which room I was playing. I have it dialed for my hobby room which isn't a huge room, the room I was playing in this video was my dining room which is huge with vaulted ceilings, definitely sounds a lot different out there. The clarity is noticeable though for sure, the notes are well pronounced and not as muddy as a lot of amps out there. And it's the quietest amp of the bunch as far as feedback and hiss. Built like a tank.

The Krank has never bottomed out. In fact I regularly play bass through it on the clean channel and it sounds just as massive, tons of bottom end etc.

IMO if someone doesn't like the Krankenstein, they have likely never played one, never played one through its own cabinet, don't like rock, metal, or heavy metal, didn't play with it long enough, or are possibly deaf.

Ya , i really want to buy a Krankenstein one of these days. It's right down my alley. Tight, Aggressive, lots of clarity with high gain, and of course... it's very loud. I think most of the people that ragged on krank had never even played one, it's un-justifed hate.

Or never turned it up past 1, it really comes alive past 3 on master & channel volume

Absolutely. Ive seen a handfull of these used for next to nothing. I would put it at better quality than any other imported guitars that you would find at Guitar Center.
Mine is the pro model with neck through body, EMG's, Floyd, grover tuners, jumbo frets, super low action and great playability. I would recommend Agile to anyone wanting a great vakue for their money on a guitar.

They are! I've played the 7 string, and I own a AL-2500. Killer guitars for super low prices.

I got to jam on two 8 string bolt ons before I got this one, even the bolt ons are serious quality for reasonable prices.

They all sounded great, but I dig the Krank the most. Killer setup man!

Thanks, much appreciated, it's always interesting to do direct comparisons like these to really see where amps stand. If I just jam on one, then another it's a lot different than being able to reflect back on it with a decently recorded video, you notice a lot more sound differences and the specific character of each amp more. I wanted to do this with all my amps, just thought the video would be too long.
