NGD and a question.

I always wanted a PRS and found a good deal on an S2 Custom 24 in Eriza Verde. I literally just opened the box an hour ago. I'm going to let it sit for a bit before I set it up. Haven't played it yet but I will later! So far, the guitar seems lighter than what I was expecting (I'm used to alder body super strat guitar). Here's my question for the PRS guys about pickups. I have a JB trembucker bridge and 59 neck laying around that I was thinking of trying in this guitar. I hate JB's but since this guitar is mahogany it might work. Would the trembucker sized bridge pickup work with the PRS or do I need to get a regular spaced bridge pickup? I'll post pics in a little bit!

I'm normally not a green color guitar person but that thing is absolutely beautiful! I just love that color. Congratulations.
 
Should be just fine with the trem spaced pup.
 
You probably want the Trembucker. It's designed for trem/Fender spacing.

That'll probably sound damn good too. I put JB's in a couple S2 Singlecuts and they get along real nice. I'm like you, I'm not a JB fan in most guitars, but they work well in the S2's.
 
There's a local guy selling an SE 24-08 in that color with a beautiful flame on it. I'd love to get it off of him. Yeah, the trem pup will work just fine. I'm with you, I'm not much of a JB guy either. most of my guitars came with them and I have no real reason to change them, but I'm not exactly rushing out to buy one to put in new guitars that don't have hotrodded pups in them already.

If this is not a thinline, which I don't think it is since it has slight flame top, then it would have a maple top and mahogany body, so kind of like a Les Paul. I would think a JB would work great in that guitar or like the Aldrich set, or like the Rebel Yell set.
For the bridge humbucker spacing I would just measure the string to string spacing and see what it actually is and make my decision on if I would get a trembucker or regular spaced one.
