These bad boys arrived at the same time this morning. Guitar was FINALLY as described by the salesman. Im always a little skeptical when buying a "new" guitar from other stores and taking the guys word for it. I've been let down a few times by stores that just want inventory moved out of their own store. This one was described as little to no store wear and it shows. Really liking the Axcess at the moment.
The Bogner had me a bit scared at first. I wasn't digging it...Then I started fiddling with the switches and figuring out what they do. WOW Thing rocks!

Watch turning up the mid knob. IMO it can make the amp honky and bright. I actually keep mine around 11:00. Infact while i'm at it...
Pres 2:00 - 3:00
Treb 1:00 - 2:00
Mid 10:30
Bass 2:30
Gain 1:00. Cranking the gain to like 3:00 will only compress the sound
Use B2 and H. New(pentode). Get the volume up if you can. Tweek as needed. Good luck

hey man thanks for the tips. Got it to sound pretty good low but man did it rip when turned up! I have another question, I had it set at half power for about 20mins without halfing the impedance like the manual says(read it after) How can I tell if I hurt anything?

XTCs take some tweaking to find your sweet spot. I was a bit unsure on my Classic for a couple of weeks until I'd really learned how to set it up. Upgraded from a Shiva and that was pretty simple to set up.

to be honest Im trying to force myself to like the Bogner...It sounds good but Im not sure its really worth the money for me,plus Im hearing what a lot of people describe as a blanket over the tone. Ive been on a boutique amp kick the last couple amps thinking thats what I need but I played a JVM head today at gc and thought the thing flat out smoked! Not sure what to do, I have at least 30 days to think about it but the Bogner may not be my thing. Now sellers remorse for the Friedman is really kicking in
The Axcess fucking rocks though! Just got it back from being setup and really liking it
