Tube Question for Diezel VHX

Hello -- My VHX started to act funny out of the blue. After warming up, it would start to make a pop / crack type sound about every second unless I turned the Standby off. The guitar tone completely cut out while it was doing this. After a minute or so I turned Standby back on and the issue would go away, for a few times. I started to try and track down what the issue is so I started pulling all the cables off 1x1 (Columbus, Midi, DI Out, Effects Loop) trying to see if this was the issue -- and then I noticed the Tube as I was doing this -- as the pop occurred, the tube would flash purple. I shut it off right away thinking something was awry. I did a little Googling and it sounded like perhaps my Tube was bad. So I took the back off, and I noticed that the Tube was sitting off the base by a few milimeters -- it was crooked for sure. So was another one... I flattened all 4 tubes, gently pushing them flush with the base. I've been doing test now for a solid hour and the issue has not replicated.

I recently moved my studio around 2 months ago -- is it possible that it somehow came off the base and just finally somehow got to the point where it wasn't seated correctly? Maybe from the speaker cab it sits on? Or slight bumping of the cab, etc? Could that little bit of being off base cause the issue I'm describing? The issue seems to be gone but I'm skeptical for how long or if this even makes sense -- I don't know a ton about amp electronics.....very little actually.

Appreciate any help here --

Thanks,
