I absolutely adore my Goldtop Anderson Bulldog and have been looking for another one since they were discontinued over a year ago. Most of them seem to be built with Tom's Happy Medium neck shape. I had an Anderson with the Happy Medium before and it would hurt my thumb joint here and there. I love his Even Taper neck shape and finally found one a used one with that neck shape that is in perfect condition. The pickups are great but I have some ideas on something else (thinking about the Suhr Thornbucker set or going with Tom's H3 and H1). It plays like butter!!! So happy to have another. This one will be setup for Eb and my Goldtop will stay in standard.

Just wanted to share my NAD. I'll make a video soon!

I love Anderson's! My next singlecut will be a bulldog as apposed to the traditional LP.

Congas!

As a side note...I'm ordering a set of the Suhr Thornbuckers and was hoping to get some opinions. I am thinking about ordering them in parchment color (cream). What do you guys think? It's hard to tell in the pictures but the the pickup rings are cream colored too. Thoughts? It's either going to be parchment or raw nickel covers.

Really nice, Congrats!

Looks like really nice fit to finish from the pics.

If I ever bought another LP style guitar, it probably wouldn't be a Gibson.

Thanks guys! I love the guitar and happy to own 2 Bulldogs.

Metlupass2...here are the specs. I love the Even Taper neck carve. The most comfortable neck I've ever played:

Body Wood: Flame Maple Top on Mahogany
Body Finish: Burnished Orange Burst with Binding
Neck Wood: Mahogany, Rosewood Fingerboard
Neck Finish: Matching Headstock and Back, Satin
Neck Back Shape: Even-Taper
Nut Width: 1 11/16-in
Frets: Low-Rise
Hardware Color: Chrome
Bridge: Tune-o-matic with Stop Tailpiece
Pickups: HC1 HC3
Switching: 3 Way, 4 Knob

Congrats! I was going to pick this one up if it was still avail in a week or two.

How do you like the low rise frets? Most Bulldogs I see have them. Mine has heavy like a few of my other guitars.
