NGD (Belated) - Gibson '70's Explorer w/Het Set!

So, I had it a couple weeks, and had to drop it off with the tech to doctor up the nut, (poorly cut), and address some high frets. Picked it up today, and they did a fine job!

The previous owner dropped in a Het Set, which turned out to be a super awesome choice. What a BEAST this thing is! They truly do have that 81/Passive hybrid thing going on. Tight, crunchy, yet warm and musical. It KILLS with my Engl Artist, but seems to favor the Savage Drive over the VFE Dragon. Less compressed, yet aggressive as hell!

This is the new model in Classic White with the neck binding. I changed the pickguard to black - How's it look??

Ah... shit my bad.. I saw 70's and saw the red case liner and figured its actual 1970's. I dig it man. I like the pickguard to and the fkn binding.. .very nice.
